Im Bruchwegstadion Tradition, 5 Minuten vor dem Anpfiff wird dieses Lied gesungen:

You'll Never Walk Alone wurde 1945 komponiert. Es wurde für das Finale eines Broadway-Musicals geschrieben.
Das Lied hatte für viele, die Angehörige im Zweiten Weltkrieg hatten und um diese bangen mussten, eine verbindende Wirkung.
1945 erreichte der Song in der Version von Frank Sinatra einen Spitzenplatz (Platz 9) in den Billboard-Charts.
